What is cloud computing?

While other choices mention aspects of technology, they do not encapsulate the full concept of cloud computing. Data storage is a component of cloud services, but it does not explain the broad range of services provided. Similarly, software development might occur in cloud environments, but cloud computing itself is not a development method. Lastly, hardware integration pertains more to how physical components work together rather than the overarching concept of delivering services through the internet. Thus, the defining characteristic of cloud computing is its service-based model operating over the internet.
